Lisbon was ok, but the lack of bands and support in the second half was pretty poor, Lisbon on a whole was nice fairly cheap for beer and taxi's

Yorkshire Pie is your Gran Canaria expert. Just a half though I think, unless you are going ultra-trail running.

(PS Lanzarote is good, probably even better now than when I ran it (half) (different course.)
