Another "Guaranteed public entries end..." deadline is looming. Next Tuesday is the latest deadline (https://www.facebook.com/McrMarathon/photos/a.172404786217608/3539826756142044) although the website suggests that it may just result in (another) £10 price increase if you don't enter before then (https://www.manchestermarathon.co.uk/ways-to-participate/individual-entries/).
£65 is already (very) steep, but even being so local to Manchester, I'd be looking for somewhere else rather than paying £75 to enter this race.

Sushi.
I've paid £36 to enter The Shakespere marathon.
So many other great options than to pay the ridiculously over inflated price of Manc

Yes a fair whack but it's my main event of the season. Travel and accommodation is a lot more...I did enter a while ago under the cheapest price tho.

As I inferred above, it's getting a very expensive race to enter, especially if you miss out on the early entries... but it's still a lot cheaper than triathlon

According to Chrome "This server could not prove that it is www.manchestermarathon.co.uk; its security certificate expired 91 days ago."
I didn't have any problems the day I signed up on 23rd November, so that something doesn't add up there.
Note - I know next to nothing about website security certificates
