Thanks too_old_for_all_this that was an interesting watch. My overriding impression, given the length of the flyover, is it’s a bloody long way
The imagery appeared to be before Bentham Tower was constructed, so that’s something else too look out for (you can’t miss it).

Not wanting to get anybody's hopes up, but a friend of a friend is a Metrolink driver and has posted on Facebook that they received an updated pay offer yesterday and so the strike on Sunday is possibly off (please treat with as much skepticism as you wish).

Just seen on the Manchester Marathon twitter they are saying the strike has been called off. Not seen that via Metrolink yet mind.

That is great news as now I can park and ride in by tram. My previous plan was a park and jog or shuttle bus. It’s not getting to the start particularly but returning from the finish .
