I have been in here since the early days ( a 3 digit number ) The first Fetchie I met was Gobi. Our daughters went to school together and were great friends. He is and always will be one of my closest friends but I can confirm there are a lot of people on here or used to be on here who will say some fairly awful and untruthful things about him but I know if I ever need anything he will be there.
Meanwhile I don’t post much. As others have said things have changed which is only natural but I wouldn’t be without Fetch, after all all my training is here. So for that thank you Fetch.

Oh and as for the GSR photo which I am actually in Gobi you were there, you were my driver for the day and yes you were warming up. From memory we both had incredibly runs that day.

JB - was that when I ran 3.0X with a torn adductor in the pissing rain ?
If it was then sorry I hate being injured and I hate rain so the 2 together and knowing what shape I was in before the addcutor means I may not have been at my best :¬)

Hello All,
My Dad (Running Beard) pointed me in this direction to have a look after he’s posted an update. His memory hasn’t left him yet and seemed to get the update correct!
Great to look back and see so many messages from you all.
Sharkie - I still remember reading that blog for the first time and beaming from ear to ear. I think I screenshotted it and have it kept as an image somewhere, thankyou for the reminder of the lovely words!
StepfordWife - I am indeed old enough to be getting married and am actually engaged We had everything booked for an August wedding in a few months time but we have had to delay it until next year for obvious reasons!
I keep saying that I’ll take her up to run a lakeland trail but have never gotten round to it. Particularly keen on running Cartmel but I’m not sure it’s run anymore?
