That’s a good shout from McGoohan. Another good option would be the Jurassic coast using somewhere like Bridport or Lyme as a base. A bit more of a challenge in terms of the terrain, don’t know if that is a positive or a negative for you?

If you go away from the coast, I think Wiltshire is a much neglected county. The routes on Salisbury Plain are amazing

We did Eastbourne to Portsmouth a few years ago. Train to Eastbourne walk to Portsmouth with a few small train journeys on the way then train home. I can get Magpie to dig out the routes if you are interested? Arundel was a particular highlight walk and place. |
