God she's ruthless isn't she. I'm already speculating that she'll try and stitch the husband up when the going gets tough. Mind you he seems to be guilty of attacking Arnott at the very least.

Re: James I wondered if he is to be trusted. There was something about the interaction with Nick when he took him away to get forensics done. Could he be deliberately cocking things up?

Or am I just really paranoid now?

I thought I'd see what this was all about yesterday and ended up watching all four episodes from this series in one day! Certainly seems worth going back and watch the first three series.

Unlike many police interview or interrogation scenes, these manage to combine a thrilling mix of logic, menace and deceit over extended periods.

I wonder just what's going on with Hilton? Is his problem with AC personal with Hastings, or is he corrupt and trying to shut them down for self protection? Not a knight in shining armour on the gender equality front himself.

Prediction. Kate makes inspector while Steve is broken. Hastings gets sidelined. Season five is Kate and Steve taking down Hilton. Tim was balaclava man all the time, and the man who attacked Steve was sent by Hilton after Maneet tipped him off about where Steve was going. That last bit doesn't make sense, but nothing else I can think of does either.
