If it's slow, I agree that Sagan might hang in there.

SPR, I picked Rolland instead too. Majka was another possibility I didn't go for, he's in the break today *rolls eyes*

15 mins, the peloton are chilling.
Greipel apparently didn't contest the intermediate sprint but Cavendish did.

Could this be a repeat of a Pereiro, Simon, Voeckler gap that took days to get back, and in Pereiro,s case a doped up Landis(don,t think that type will happen), before the GC riders took charge. GC guys clearly playing poker for much of the day, started watching after I got back from a ride at 1430 woth a gap of nearly 15 minutes.

Sagan gone, not surprising.
Landa gone is. Nibali probably still suffering from Giro.
Movistar obviously want to test everyone. Contador isolated according to CN.

20 secs lost for Contador, good loss limitation, he's still in the game for now.

Disagree - he was in the main group over the last climb - if he was in the game he should have been able to hang on with everyone else. Of everyone else only Nibali wasn't there.
Wouldn't be a surprise to see him lose more time in the Pyrenees. If not Fri, certainly Stage 8 on Sat.
Sagan a foregone conclusion tomorrow? Or a bunch sprint from the entire peloton?
