Saxon did chase, but their team here is super weak so they didn't have much of a chance. The A team is at the TDS.

I think the Sky team have been fine here really. They could do with Porte being stronger but apart from that, they've performed well as a team.

That's worth a look on the highlights later. Cav went quite long and Sagan couldn't stay with him. Great sprint in the tour de cheese

No one mentioned this... telegraph.co.uk the effective death of Wiggins Tour dream. Yeah I know he was out anyway, but there was a world where Froome breaks his collarbone while training and Wiggins powers to victory at the Tour of Switzerland, and with an out of sorts Richie Porte, Sky go yeah lets throw out eggs in the Wiggins basket. Now I think they'd back an out of sorts Richie Porte if for whatever reason Froome can't start and hand Adam Yates the spare spot. |

I thought Wiggins must have abandoned, not much point staying after the crash. Adam yates rides for orica doesn't he? he has been riding amazingly well recently |

The TDF ship has sailed for Wiggins. He was only ever targeting the TT in the TDS and had reportedly already started putting on weight for his return to track.

The sky lie up is as open as ever. Heano is out, froome is looking fragile, as is Porte. Wiggo won't go as he's out of favour/contract, leaving a few decent climbers, knees, gee, etc. I think their best bet is Kennaught or gee.
