Absolutely amazing socks HB!

I'm recovering my crochet mojo a bit - made some fingerless gloves at the weekend. On Rav at http://www.ravelry.com/projects/sally-kate/hermione-shell-mittens. They're so quick to make. My fourth pair but the first three were as gifts for other people. Great for cold computer hands as they're warm but not bulky.

And I have some panto costume work to do but - somewhat disappointingly - it's a simple shirt rather than anything more involved or sparkly. There are sewing sessions organised in the office three times a week (two evenings and a Sunday) but I can never get to any of them. It's Hansel & Gretel this time: sadlerswells.com

Bizarre - or not so bizarre, I think I broke it with a full stop :-(

ravelry.com

I want to make another pair in less scratchy wool (the Drops Delight feels fine to work with but they could be softer to wear) so am going to order some merino later - also because daughter would like some in red.

Hope you don't mind, not trying to sell anything, but as it's now December, if anyone would like to knit an easy little stocking filler/tree decoration, I wrote a pattern for a little Rudolf a couple of years ago as part of a fundraising project for Medecins Sans Frontieres. The pattern is available free, though you can leave a donation for MSF if you like.
