Nope it was normal first class (since I figured that honest folk are out in the daytime).
Hopefully they do a Saturday delivery where you are.

We have such an (in) efficient postal service in this country, the number that Reinhold Messner kindly posted to me first class on the 11th December finally arrived today!
So first class means sometime in the next week and second class must mean eventually if you are lucky

BTW we were lucky in that a number was being returned as we got to the transfer desk so we did both have legitimate entries.

I'm still naive enough to think that first class is delivered the next day, so long as you get it in the post box before the last collection. Bring back the 1980s.
