DeeGee: if you look at the course map you should be able to see where it fits in. The Tollgate services are still there, albeit closed apart from the petrol station. It is generally west of the A227, whereas the services were to the east. As Traviss suggests, the new A2 is still being built on the Google Maps aerial imaging, and the Cyclopark venue is just green fields.

I've visited the site and it is very real now! Lovely miles of tarmac, car parks, etc, etc.

I am sure it is Kaz! The original A2 (Roman Road) is now the cycle route in/out of the Cyclopark.
