Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Another lovely hour paddleboarding this evening. I'm so lucky to have it on my doorstep. Stopped work 17.30 and on the water by 18.00. :-) G

We decided to avoid the solent due to the currents so instead went to Avon Beach near Christchurch. It was windy and choppy but we both managed to stand for a bit and had great fun.

(Many years ago) I used to do a bit of wild water racing and K1 sprint. Our Scout Group had a "Dart" which was a proper rodeo stallion of a boat.

Great fun taking family out on canoe and paddleboard(s) over long weekend visiting. Sis and nephew (11) in canoe and me and niece (6) on paddleboard, half mile out to island then inventing stories about inhabitants (there's camp site and some activities there that the Scouts use). Then when we came back we swapped and sis and niece in canoe and me and nephew on paddleboards. In 30 mins he got very quickly to standing up, paddling forwards and back and spinning around and paddling quite hard against the quite strong winds. Success!! :-) G
