Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I agree you have to drink an awful lot to overhydrate, as your body is very efficient at getting rid of the water it doesn't need - but any fluid counts, tap water can be made drinkable with a squeeze of lemon juice - but I'd still rather have a cup of tea - except at mealtimes when I don't want to chelate the iron and other minerals

Don’t know why but I’ve had a terrible day today. So hungry. Cycle tonight but it’ll be my first mega blowout. Go again tomorrow.

One of the fitness guru's, can't remember his name, suggested no intake of fluids during meals. Not sure of the science.

His name has just come back to me, Maffetone.

A common theme I read is to drink a glass or two of water before eating as it's supposed to supress your appetite or make you feel full sooner.

WP: not sure what you mean log exercise with withings? Do you want to do press-ups on it? :) MFP can connect to withings and withings updates your weight and BF% on there. MFP will send that to garmin connect if you've connected MFP and garmin. Before MFP, I used a script that updates garmin connect with withings data.

Also, withings can connect to trendweight and loads of other sites.

Reading about drinking water I'm with Rosehip about not understanding how it can aid weight loss (not read any articles so its ignorance on my part rather than disagreeing with the concept). And like Hanneke, I've always understood and used the rule of thumb that if your urine isn't colourless (or close to), you probably aren't drinking enough.

Speaking of which .. after lunch I decided it was time to mow our lawns. It was warmer than expected and I've worked up a thirst so am now sat in front of the 'puter with a cup of tea. Need my caffeine intake first but have my bottle of water on standby! :)

Ah I have it linked to mfp, fitbitso it will update trendweight. Garmin connect connected to mfp.

It just had food frommfp on scale app but did not take exercise off be easier if it did. It did say link to strava but I then realised it was for a withing watch and not scales. 🙄
