Yorkshire Pie
Hey all, hope everyone is keeping well. While out running I’ve noticed a lot of people are social distancing which is great, (they usually do from me anyway), but noticed people aren’t saying ‘Hey’, ‘Hi’, ‘Good morning’, ‘Speed up fatty’ as much as they used, if at all, which is a shame. Naturally we’re all a bit anxious at the moment but just a simple hey, hi or a smile got to be a good thing at the moment surely. Ps. Note to Alan at number 24 if you’re reading this put some pants on or draw the curtains it’s nearly 1pm.

Fragile Do Not Bend
This is the notice which was put up late last night or early hours this morning.

It is incorrect and they have all been removed.

It was put up by someone who is known to have an issue with dogs and admitted to putting them up after aggressively accusing the wrong person of taking them down and he also did not keeping their distance.
Which is ironic given what he put on his notice!

The last thing we need is more aggro in these troubled times.

This is my notice which I will put up if the earlier incorrect notices reappear.

[It’s all kicking off!]

A POLITE REQUEST TO ALL RUNNERS/JOGGERS......
It’s been stated that droplets from a runner’s breath can carry around 20ft or more. When I was out walking around Eltham Parks both North and South yesterday afternoon there were a number of people running, some in pairs. On every occasion when they were heading either towards me or approaching from behind, I was the one who had to move out of their way - not one of them changed their path to move away from me. Surely the etiquette here would be for the runners to distance themselves from the walkers. I know my husband certainly does so when he’s out running. In the current COVID19 crisis please please could runners be considerate of walkers, many of whom won’t be as agile or as fit as you. Thank you

[Fragile - which 2 meters (sic) was he hoping dog walkers should carry with them? Volt-meter? Electricity meter? Parking meter?]
