Wakefield Chantry Chapel, first licensed in 1356, and one of only four surviving in England. The frontage is a reproduction, the original having been taken to nearby Kettlethorpe Hall and incorporated into a boathouse. In the West Riding of Yorkshire volume of Pevsner Architectural Guides, Nikolaus Pevsner [1959] described the boathouse as "the most precious of all boat houses."
