It is lovely stuff. There's a deli up in the next 'village' that I will have to visit to get my 50 cheeses up!

The blue I mentioned, but didn't write down what it was called (all gone now!)

Mexican Lima Queso (cheese with paprika and lime and salt - pretty good. From Lidl)

Have not been keeping score through the year. Got at least 10 in the fridge. 3 cheese boards since Christmas day, at least another 2 planned.

Got a cheese called "Winston" at Denby Pottery Christmas market. Beautifully creamy and very strong.

I see the Veggies thread and the Beer thread are back in business, so why not the cheese thread?!

Not much cheese action going on here just yet -

1. Lidl own brand Red Leicester
2. Milbona cheese slices (I know, I know, t's a guilty pleasure)

and in my lunch box for later -

3. Wensleydale, from the creamery at Hawes.

Back for 2023!! You know what to do :)

Inspired by the Christmas Cheese thread and the 50 Fruit and Veg in 2022 thread, how many different types of cheese can you eat in 2022?

I've had a rummage in the fridge and so far I have consumed -

(Valley Spire) Medium Cheddar
(Tesco) Red Leicester
(Tesco) Shropshire Blue
(Shepherds Purse) Harrogate Blue
(Tesco) Neufchatel
(Aldi) Spicy Cheddar
(Aldi) Wensleydale with cranberries
(Milbona) Cream cheese

I make that 8 varieties so far!

I have some more in the fridge to go...
