Running with my OH today, off road mainly with one detour for me to squish a fetchpoint bug. I ran twice yesterday, the 2nd one mainly to fill in some time after I finished working from home. I can get all my jobs done during the day in between working so feel at a bit of a loss in the early evenings with nothing productive to do!

I guess over the past 15 years, 90%+ has been solo. So until total lock-down nothing has changed for me.

I'm seeing all this as a positive for my running. For the past couple of years, after a bad ankle injury, my mileage has almost halved, I've put on weight and just lost my running mojo. Since I'm in the middle of no-where (literally, we don't get gas, not on mains water, no broadband and our neighbours are red sqirrels, deer, cows, sheep, emu & rhea...don't ask) running is no problem with self-isolation. With that, a change in work practice, and the weather changing completely as Spring started yesterday, I'm planning on trying to get out twice a day, to not get iinjured and hopefully lose 20 lbs. Every cloud and all that...

I too am lucky in being able to get into isolated countryside with virtually zero risk of proximity to others. For others this might be more of a challenge. It will be interesting to hear how people are dealing with this issue.
Let’s hope we do not get to total lock-down. Prolonged total lock-down will almost certainly be bad for our physical and mental health.
Nobody knows how this situation will evolve, but if we can maintain the social distancing currently recommended/mandated, I think there is reason for optimism. We have an obligation to maintain social distance, and also to keep ourselves well.
I will provide links to apparently useful sources of information about running in the covid-19 era in the ‘About this Thread’ panel on the right of this thread. Please post any suggestions for useful links.

I reluctantly accepted that catching the bus and/or the train out to That Countryside and the trails wouldn't be classed as "necessary travel" so, while we are still allowed to run in the UK, I did loops (just over a mile) of my little local woods for 2 hours.
Glorious day and a lovely run but the place was heaving! Never seen it that busy even at the height of summer.

I’m running a big circle round anyone I encounter on my runs. If the path is too narrow to do that I stop and wait until it’s clear. Now the children are out of school and the weather has improved I imagine I’ll have a lot more avoiding to do!

Running and walking a small dog for an elderly neighbour on days I don't run so far. Hubby occasionally joins me on a run.

So far I've managed to get away with 16.5 miles of illegal running this week 😉

Is isn’t really. I’m doing a bit of jogging. Winding down from the marathon training with no plans for the future.

Early morning running on the Thames path I pass quite a few people running and cycling, but everyone is keeping a circumspect distance and the path is plenty wide enough in most places.
However have ordered a treadmill, just in case for me, but mainly for Mrs puzzler who has gone from a very active lifestyle to barely leaving the house.
