None done today as the forecast wasn't great.

I have seen some distressing hanging lately. Does anyone else have the urge to go and sort out people's washing? I find myself muttering 'it'll never dry like that'.

Oh yes H often ..my mother in law did that to me when I was first married and once only.....my washing has been perfect ever since

I did a wash and hung it out today as it's supposed to rain the rest of the week. It dried lovely.

Always changing the pegging when my wife does it :)

Also cuffs being inside gets me going.

It's mostly been bedding I've seen recently. All scrunched up and pegged in a way that prevents billowing.

Terminology: 'Fluffing' -- Going out and runninng your hands over the washing just to feel whether still moist. Sometimes not needed but we all like to fluff

'Melvyn' - where you run you fingers through your washing, you think it's damp but you're not sure. It could be dry. You leave out or take in? you've done a Melvyn'.

Also for sharing photos of 'Extreme pegging'. Plastic or wooden they are all embraced here :)
