How awful that you aren't enjoying this unseasonal drying weather. I fear as the Winter months draw in, you will suffer terrible "Fluffing" withdrawal symptoms. Please know that you are in our thoughts.

12barDavid Nov 2018 8:56pm, 17 Nov 2018 480 posts	0 12barDavid Nice drying weather again on the South Coast. Weak sunshine & a stiff wind. Got the washing in off the line at 3 o'clock & it was nearly dry. Have now got it on the clothes horse in front of the coal fire.

In fact, I looked out of the window this morning and thought I'd better roll the line up into its 'thingy' for the winter, as I won't be drying outside for a while.

Terminology: 'Fluffing' -- Going out and runninng your hands over the washing just to feel whether still moist. Sometimes not needed but we all like to fluff

'Melvyn' - where you run you fingers through your washing, you think it's damp but you're not sure. It could be dry. You leave out or take in? you've done a Melvyn'.

Also for sharing photos of 'Extreme pegging'. Plastic or wooden they are all embraced here
