I've just upgraded my Stages crank to 2.0.79. Except according to the Stages website the latest release is 2.0.78.

More than mildly flustered by this.

2.0.79 could be a third party spoof release? Or it could be pony like 2.0.77.

2.0.78 was stable and seemed to solve my battery drain issue which was meant to be solved months ago but wasn't for me.

I was getting through a battery every three weeks prior to 2.0.78. Had the current battery since the middle of February. 19th, in fact. I have a spreadsheet.

No good comes of downloading latest software versions, ever. Do not ever accept a download request unless the misery of limping on is so bad that there is no alternative.
