Just checked training log for that day, 21.18 according to garmin and I didn't get a signal for the 1st few hundred yards of the race

6 weeks before flm and the day before ashby 20. Now I think I will give Ashby a miss this year

oooh bugger i may have my dates wrong (quite possibly as im crap with that stuff) I'm pretty sure last year it was the day before Ashby, 2 completely different races although similar distance, for me no question Grindleford the better option, however Ashby is a road race and better if you are trying to gauge a time for flm. I prefer to go for the hills though
