Hopefully it won’t come to it but I guess it’s all a bit uncertain at the moment

Once you’ve done your research, and decided what you want/need from a treadmill, then it’s worth considering the 2nd hand market (eBay, Facebook marketplace, Gumtree, etc) as there is (usually) decent bargains to be found.

+1 for eBay though it means you’re generally looking at older models which means a bit of legwork finding full spec and manuals etc. But big savings on decent quality models.

Thanks guys. I won’t need anything fancy. Just something that’ll let me get some miles in if we all end up confined to quarters.

Just got email reminding me of deadline for deferral - seems a bit early to be thinking of that really, but I can't really imagine training for and racing October so I'm set for 2021 now

when is 18 weeks back from October anyway? June or something? I'm not spending my summer ploughing up and down the local roads on a marathon plan even if it's allowed.

Think I'm going to do it. But only a 12 week plan (depending on if I manage to tick over nicely until that point)
