Thanks Wrexhamrob. Just need to decide whether to go with the 4hr pace group or play it safer and go with 4:15 or even 4:30.
My last week of training has been affected by a bit of a leak in house at the weekend which has left my house with no power or water meaning I can't stay at home. Would be good if it can be sorted a bit so that I could stay in my own bed on Saturday night but not likely now.

Very kind offer Rob, but I'm after absolutely no sort of time this weekend. If I see you, I'll say hi, but the time I do really just depends on how my mate is feeling on the day.

6 mile run this morning, which includes a double hill as you leave the prom -
1) 1m - 9:18(9:18/m) 136cal 2) 1m - 9:02(9:02/m) 139cal 3) 1m - 8:45(8:45/m) 137cal 4) 1m - 9:07(9:07/m) 138cal 5) 1m - 9:02(9:02/m) 137cal 6) 1m - 8:37(8:37/m) 138cal
9.07 up the hill, which is my quickest time ever - some very short runs out now and at a slower pace I think.

Replacement race number arrived yesterday so can now relax a bit more - 11690. 7miles this morning, 2 @ goal race pace of about 7:15 which felt pretty comfortable. Weather is looking perfect for Sunday - don't forget your running cap + sun lotion for the day even if it's not going to be very warm - the sun is strong right now.

The hay is in the barn J, no benefit from doing too much now... just need to bang out those 8:55mm miles on Sunday
Elliot - certainly one less thing to stress about.
DG - it was sunny towards the end last year, and it was sunny when I left Altrincham this morning. That said I'm not going to believe any weather forecast until I look out the window on Sunday morning.

LOL at weather watching for the manchester marathoners....BBCforecast not showing VLM day yet, but when it does I will be joining in.
That said, I would suggest that whatever the weather is, dont worry and stick to the plan and trust in the training. Remember all those days in 3 - 4 layers, hat and gloves...sleet, snow, ice misery and you slogged out another 18 miles. Those days of hard work set you up for this day and dont let the weather put you off, after all it didnt interrupt your training.
What time does manchester set off on Sunday, given I will only have 13.1 miles to do I will probably aim to get it done and dusted so I can track you all.

9am start Baz. I'll put a link to the tracker in the sidebar when it's confirmed (hopefully today).
