cheers.....looking forward to it.

SiL is running as well, but her training in Dec/Jan was interrupted so not clear yet what her target is, but I think she could be in the 3:15 train. She didnt show up at intervals last night which I guess means she is taking it seriously.

Can any locals recommend somewhere to get food (and watch the football on Sky) on Sunday afternoon? Hopefully not too busy/rowdy as I'll be with the family. I'll be heading back to the Ibis at Salford Quays to get showered, so anywhere either close to there or easy enough on public transport! Would massively appreciate it, thank you!

RBNLMX - anywhere showing the derby on Sunday afternoon is likely to be busy/rowdy; anywhere NOT showing the derby is likely to be quiet!

I wanted to watch the mighty Hammers at 1.30. Hungry Horse sounds perfect!

Glad to hear it's not too congested.

Will try to make the hungry horse, even if most of you will be showered, changed watered and fed by the time I finish.

Cammy, just concentrate on getting to the start line as close to 100% as possible, and certainly do jeopardise that by going out running if you don't feel up to it. No running session you do this week will have any fitness benefit for Sunday.

UC - I don't think we're all planning on heading to the Hungry Horse, that was just a suggestion for RBNLMX who wanted a family friendly food establishment. The suggested meeting venue is Bishop Blaize (see sidebar) which is much closer to the finish.
