We watched on catch-up so avoided fetch then fell asleep….
Sandro was strong from the off but hasn’t been as good the last couple of weeks. Syabira has also been up there from the off and her innovation and flavours always shone through. Abdul was quietly consistent and seemed to improve last couple of weeks.
I did think Sandro might have pulled it out the bag but I think this has been the worst final yet.
I know they give them time pressure to make it well pressured but surely giving them a few mins more would be better all round it’s still a challenge.
Now to catch up on masterchef.

I had Abdul and Syabira tied going into the show stopper, and she just edged the SS I thought. Her invention was just the right mix of bonkers and yet tried and tested (by her at least) so she was the most innovative of the lot.

I'm glad Syabira won but was just as impressed with Abdul. Poor Sandro, he just kept trying to do too much!!
I always feel like the final is a let down because they don't give them enough time to really nail it. It's annoying. It annoyed me when Paul said to Abdul that his custard stuff in the bomb thingie needed "half an hour more"... where should that half an hour come from? Its not like they're standing around drinking tea for the whole challenge!
By the way that bomb thingie looked grim anyway. Soaked bread. *vom*
