Heinzster Oct 2021 10:16am, 15 Oct 2021 1,898 posts	0 Heinzster Heinzster, there's a lot of what you say that leads to people employing 'people like them' as they believe they're best for the job though... hence the number of white males on boards and in senior management... however, this is a massive digression! I do agree, WL, and I accept that as a white middle aged man I fit exactly in the 'guilty' profile. For my line of work, however, we have approx 80% of my sector as women in their 30s and early 40s, that demographic continues across pay grades (senior posts do tend to be a bit older to be fair). I tend to stick out a little as the minority and I am in great demand to balance interview panels. I have done the equality course multiple times and find it frustrating that they focus on direct/indirect discrimination - my view is that the best candidate should get the job regardless.
