I always thought threads like this one and the strictly one are for commenting on during the show? I sometimes can't watch live so I avoid the thread until I've caught up. I thought most people did that? If I've spoiled it for anyone then I'm sorry, but can I respectfully suggest that people who don't want to know who's been voted out don't look at the thread until they've caught up? If people don't agree with me I'll leave the thread.

I’d not seen that post as mustn’t have ‘refreshed’ after a pause. Sorry if you though I had. I was merely commenting that having read Fetch’s blog I liked the new option to hide things. I certainly didn’t mean to offend or upset or annoy anyone.

However I also agree with Mrs S that the dedicated threads can't work very well unless they follow what has just been broadcast. Mind you I'm not keen on posting at the same tme as watching - I'd rather wait 'til the shows finished. I suppose Bake off has ad breaks now - but I never post while watching on Strikkers. Perhaps I'm just old!

Think it’s a good feature for a general thread though where you might mention watched Strictly Final on the mundane thread for example and mention the winner but don’t want to spoil it for someone inadvertently.
