That list is almost all unadulterated journo-bollox: Guardian writers trying to show how down wiv da kidz they are.

There are some absolute belters in there. Music is so subjective it almost pointless anyone doing a list.
If I was to do a list of the worst ever bands Queen and Madness would be in the top ten, but I don’t know many who dislike either.
New Metronomy out today which brings me joy.

Jonny Lloyd for me next Wednesday and then Al Moses on Thursday.
Plastic Mermaids the week after and then again with chief and Hendo the week after that.
Grace Petrie in October and then a fairly mental November which includes 6 gigs in 6 nights, all of which will be mental and three of them with chief.

Definite 5 of the 100, with a possible 2 more (not sure whether just some tracks or the whole album). Some absolute dross in there.
The synopsis under each one is just pretentious-arty bollox, and it seemed to be the case of picking the least successful album by well-known star - Blackstar wouldn't even get into a Bowie top 10 albums ffs.
There are a few others that might be worth a listen though.

Lots of rap-lite in Guardian list, clearly they are young and we are old, however, the truth we are right and we know it.
She Drew The Gun - I am trying to like them because they are from Birkenhead and support Tranmere and the band seem nice kids - but nothing sticks with me.
Presently enjoying the Black Futures album (Never Not Nothing) ideal if you like a bit loud, a bit electronic, a bit rock, a bit silly , a bit singalong, a bit fecking noisy. in a year's time i won't have played the album for months and will wonder why I liked it. Right now it is ace.
