I was at Billy Bragg's Roundhouse gig last night too, poor lad's voice was on the way out - good job it was the last night of the tour.

Officially "sold out" but far fewer people than some gigs I'd seen there in the Before Times. Nice not to be too packed in but I wonder how long smaller-capacity gigs will be sustainable for venues without a further hike in admission prices, which have gone through the roof in recent years.

I saw Billy at Southend Cliffs Pavillion on Thursday, Fitz, and his voice was fine then. Shame he's struggled with the last night. He's brilliant, isn't he?

I don't know if the Cliffs was officially sold out but it was a bit short of full. Still quite a big crowd though.
