While we are talking Garmin link issues, I have a slightly annoying one.
I have a love new Garmin FR220. It is my new best buddy. (The wife is starting divorce proceedings...again.)
Anyway, one of the lovely, lovely things about a FR220 is the Bluetooth link to Garmin Connect. I then have this setup whereby strava automatically picks up from Garmin Connect and Fetch from strava (other websites are available - and I probably use them at some time too).
However, the one slight annoyance about the FR220 is it doesn't have a "bike" setting - everything is initially treated as a run. No problem for runs - but for bike sessions, it goes to GC as a run, and to strava as a run, and to Fetch as a run. I can then easily go to GC, strava and Fetch and change it to a bike ride.
BUT although most things change on Fetch when I update it from a run to bike, not everything does. The one I particularly notice is Checkpoints. I am totally screwing up the tables by having bike rides update the runs table. Even when I change them to bike on my training log - too late - my Roger Bannisteresque effort still sits there proudly on top of the run table.
Any suggestions?

Actually, I could be wrong about it going via strava - maybe not relevant where it comes from really. Either way, bike rides arrive as runs and screw up checkpoints.

It won't be via strava it'll be from Garmin. As there's no sport indicator in the file, the default is 'Run' unfortunately.

Well, ran home uploaded to GC, strava and training peaks via ant+ through an android app called ANT2net. File is on GC but no import to fetch. Presumably this is a GC issue! I now need to find a way to upload to fetch without access to a computer. All suggestions welcome!

I'd contact Garmin support firstly - they may be able to offer a solution.

I have changed Garmins and then there were lots of duplicate run entries and I have had to erase them. I am going to stop using strava at the same time as the Garmin as this was just making it all the more muddly.

Bump!! I'm looking for a link on the fetch website to setup the auto push from Garmin Connect to Fetch training log. I'm sure I've seen one before, but now I am sadly lost. Anyone ??

Freerun - a bit late sorry, but I got this working going to Training and then click on Your Log and go to the top right hand corner and click on Garmin and it allows you to set up a sync. You have to give permission for the Fetch site to access your Garmin account, and then it happens automatically. However be warned anything recorded by hand will then be duplicated.
Second reason for bumping this - as Fetch is present on this relatively recent thread - and others might know. It works fine, but the ascent data is not reported. Is this a) intentional? b) likely to be altered in the future? c) something I can change/configure?

Here's another issue - bit more pressing.. So I delete some nonsense that Garmin imported and some duplicates. Then when I sync next time, it re-imports them all! How can this be stopped?

For the ascent data Chrisull, you need to go into the goggles (glasses view) for the activity, wait for the elevation to be traced and then refresh. In the training notes it doesn't seem to show, (imminent feedback) but in the training log view if you select 'Terrain' it'll show ascent and descent for the activity.
Not sure I understand the more pressing issue - where are you deleting it? In Connect? Have you set up the GC-Fetch link, or are you using express/ant agent?
