Joopsy, if Arsenal are 4th, they will end up a lot further down next season, they don't have the squad. Barring a lot of signings which is always a bit of a punt. It is still a bit of a building job,but it always is.
T.Hag has a similar job to Arteta's, he is going to have to sit there and work out who he keeps and who goes and probably take a huge hit in terms of cash. Pogba, Fernandes, Van De Beek, Bissaka, Maguire, they're all up to get cleared out once he has had a look. It could be a rough ride and no guarantee it will work.
Leeds are right in there. Burnley have the best run in, a better goal difference and they don't get hammered.

Leeds have far harder fixtures. If they win tonight, they're probably ok. Watford will determine a lot as both Everton and Burnley have to go there. Difficult to call, but Everton have a tough run in too.

I always enjoy a derby, even the terrible bits of the first half I saw (I was rushing home) where strangely enjoyable. Richarlison's antics were hilarious, particularly giving himself a "head injury" after heading the ball out of defence. The best moment was Alisson taking the piss out of Pickford's timewasting. Happy days in the red half of Liverpool however I genuinely do not want to see Everton relegated. It would be funny but should not happen.

Losing to Liverpool hasn't changed much really. Don't think any points were expected away at anfield. In the last 3 games, have probably got more points than expected as we may have only been hoping on beating leicester and getting 3 points instead of the 4 we have got.
Problem is, Burnley, having only won 4 games all season prior to April, have then won 3 and drawn 1 in April.
I think the 3 games we are looking at is Watford, brentford and Palace.
VAR (or lack of) was horrendous yesterday in the derby. While Gordon dived and correctly got a yellow, the second one was a definite pen. And Mane was lucky to still be on the pitch after pushing one player and raising his hand into another's face within 30 seconds of each other.

I think it's inevitable we go down.
I said when we appointed Allardyce it was the death of the club, people just didn't realise it at the time. We went from a club with an ambition to try and compete in the top half of the league and get into the Europa League places to a club that was happy just to be in the league. That appointment proved it. Silva was a mess, Ancelotti couldn't wait to get out of there, Benitez was toxic.
Problem was a lot of the other clubs decided to show a bit of ambition and now we are fucked, having lurched from crisis to crisis for years with an owner who hasn't got a clue what he is doing.
I've been resigned to it a long time now. Still hurts though............

Completely agree about when we hired Allardyce. We weren't in trouble of relegation then and it was a totally wrong appointment which confirmed that league stability was more important.
Ancelotti only left as it was Real Madrid though. He came out and said as much recently.
Of all the managers, Martinez should have been given time to sort it out but Moshiri wanted to make a point that it was his toy now. It was too big a job for Silva and Koeman always saw it as a stepping stone.

A bit annoying that. Anyway, it's one point nearer to safety, four points clear of Leeds and more importantly nine more than Everton.

Absolutely dominated Leeds tonight in an entertaining game, but couldn’t make a good enough chance. How Ayling survived without at least one yellow card, I don’t know, and James should’ve got a straight red.
Should’ve won that one.
