To be fair, Greece did win the Euros fair and square. Unlike Argentina, who only got to the 1990 World Cup Final by shear luck, a certain cheat handling on his goal line and missed by the officials, a breakaway goal and two penalty shootouts.

Whereas free scoring England drew 1-1 with the Irish, 0-0 with the Dutch, had to rely on a Mark Wright header to beat Egypt, David Platt in extra time against Belgium before being somewhat fortunate against Cameroon... but we DID play well against Germany and were a bit unlucky
