Which are both pretty much full capacity?

Yep, Carrow Road sells out pretty muck every week. Even when we were in league one, we still had 19,000 ST holders.

We are all old, for some reason the Evening Standard London 5-a-sides just popped into my head...who else remembers that, my brain tells me QPR and West Ham won it regularly?

In comparison, today in the Premier League: 25,203 at Palace And 26,911 at Norwich.

If you’re going to compare one game that they have clearly been marketing, with an opposition who will probably travel in bigger numbers than any other in the division you’re just proving that you’ve got a lot of fickle fans who are up for their biggest game of the season. Maybe you should use your numbers for the big Xmas clash with Wycombe instead.

Also going back to your Newcastle comment OS, decent players will absolutely go there, just for the money. Remember Robinho to City? I’m not sure he pitched up because he was desperate to play for Mark Hughes, or to play with Craig Bellamy.

I will report back on the attendance of little insignificant ITFC versus Sunderland and Wycombe ;-)

I'm sure Ronaldo was desperate to play for Ole? Or was it just the pay cheque?

Returning hero. A club he knew. Where he would be idolised. Decent pay. Champions league football. They weren’t bottom of the league with no win in 13 games.

Fenners, you’re dead right, I love the man but he would have gone to City if they’d offered him twice the deal.

But don’t get so offended on behalf of City, I was making the point that footballers are (understandably) largely driven by money.

Fenners, I would never call Ipswich insignificant, they are a club with a rich history and have produced some great players. You should concentrate on the more. 🤗

Ah, the beautiful game, remember that? Let's put down some jumpers and have a socially-distanced kickabout. Long shots only, and no hugging and kissing.
