Not a good time to be a Spurs fan (is it ever, since the last great glory night of Ajax away in the CLSF 2019?) but Mr Conte looked a little shell-shocked in his interview after the game.
Questions are:
Why are so many of the Spurs squad under-performing / CBA?
Can Conte fix those players?
Will Conte be given the budget to buy what he thinks he needs?

I think the whole Spurs squad needs an overhaul. Perhaps sell the big money stars and rebuild. Something doesn't seem right to me.

I was out out last night so haven’t even seen highlights yet but I gather Leicester beat Legia Warsaw quite comfortably.
Also seeing that there was some pretty nasty crowd trouble with Legia fans fighting the police trying to get across to the Leicester fans. Haven’t yet seen anything about arrests or anything.

Kane’s on the slide and disinterested. A well invested £120m has to be better than that?
Defining month of Conte’s tenure will be January. I’d imagine Levy promised him the Earth in squad rebuilding to get him in. I’d also imagine Levy would be hoping to get away with far less, maybe hoping Conte could galvanise the existing squad and reduce the need for rebuilding.
I don’t think Conte will be fobbed off with a half baked effort in January, and he won’t hang around and have his CV tarnished. I wouldn’t be surprised if he doesn’t have some sort of exit clause in his contract for that sort of scenario.
