Agreed, Ally. After all the goings on, I had hope that Rangers might have taken the chance to reinvent themselves from the ground up and taken themselves on a different path. And for the first year or two, I thought they actually might. But as soon as possible, it seems, they ditched all the young players they were having to play and headed down the old road, and all that entails.

The nearest they got to living within their means was under Ashley’s watch, but the other shareholders acted as an illegal concert party to lead a coup against him & his allies. The SFA did nowt.

Most Scottish clubs are financially prudent. Most don’t require ongoing warning that they need cash to see out the season.

Or in an other life bumped over 200 creditors including a face painter & the Scottish ambulance service.

Well, sort of. Newcastle are also currently debt-free after having billions of dirty Saudi money pumped in. It’s like congratulating on someone for managing their personal finances well when they’ve recently paid off unsustainable debts thanks to a lottery win.

No player any good is going there in January, Howe has a proper job on his hands. I reckon he won't be there next season.
