What's the debt at O/T? Just as an example, not picking on United.

Which club does live within their means?? Manchester City.
United were very well run until the Glazers got in with their leveraged buy out & now they’re a bit of a clusterfuck. The fans never rioted enough.

Debt free until the Glazer deal then immediately £550m in debt when it was signed.

Have finally read through the Crouch report - I really hope that most of the proposals are implemented, not least sorting the "fit and proper test" re owners

My understanding is that it would be for new owners, but all owners would have to pass the test every 3 years

Uniteds debt is perfectly serviceable and much less than the value of the club. When they sell it will all be dealt with.

They’ll of course be fine, but the enormous annual interest payments and dividends the Glazers paid themselves would’ve been handy for players or even to help do up OT which is a bit of a shithole these days.
