From the report, I am surprised to read that the VAR told the referee (who did not even see the incident) that it merited a yellow card. That in itself is not the remit of VAR who are only supposed to intervene regarding red cards.

OS, I can definitely get on board with that! OGS should stay for as long as he can, certainly most of the country is ebon the job he's doing at Old Trafford

Sadly the John Askey era at York got off to a predictably poor start
