HoD / OtG. No disagreement here, and once the dust settles, he'll be in high demand. His only failing at the villa (and at Walsall) was a lack of a coherent plan b. Sadly, given the injury list this season, we never got to see the post grealish plan a apart from, arguably, 20 minutes of the Everton game

Farke did try to have a plan B, the issue was it did not work very well!!! Last time we got relegated we shipped goals like they were going out of fashion. This time round he went 5 at the back and while we still shipped goals we were left with no attacking threat. The thing with Farke is, if you look on social media, there is not one Norwich fan who is sad he has gone. He leaves with plenty of credit in the bank and a thousand fantastic memories from 2 incredible seasons in the championship. (94 and 97 points were not lucky)

I think sometimes clubs and sections of the support dont realise what they have and what they may end up with.

There is a section of the Hibs support who want rid of Jack Ross. Now OK there are some things not great, but we are operating in the top half of the league and regularly in semi finals and finals plus were in europe last year. In my 45 years of following Hibs, apart from the off cup win, the current results are up there with as good as it gets. Granted we all want that wee bit more, but if we change manager we risk another spell like we had under Butcher, Calderwood, Fenlon, Heckinbottom, Williamson, Duffy, Auld, Miller etc etc

I put that badly. What I meant was the Norwich fan base are generally pleased he has gone because of his Premier league record, but are sad he has gone because of the great times we have had with him. Plenty of late drama (losing 3-0 to forest in the 77th min and not losing, losing 3-2 to Millwall in the 87th min and winning, equalising against ipshit in the 95th min to keep our unbeaten run against them going, man Citeh 3-2 etc etc etc). He still had plenty of credit in the bank with us, and we are pleased he left with a win. But a change was needed if we were going to give this Premier league lark a real go

The thing is Oscar, I like the way we are run. We earn a pound, we spend a pound. We do not have owners with dodgy human rights records and we have owners who meet the various supports groups around the country. Who else can say that have had a drink with their club owners in Stockport, Wigan or Burnley?
They care about their club as they were fans before they were owners.

As far as I am concerned when the "big six" wanted out they should have been kicked out and the rules about spending etc re-written to get a level playing field back, but that is an argument for another day.

I know we will not stay up for long, if we do stay up, but there is far more excitement in the leagues below the premier league.
Of course I want to compete against the best, but I would rather be a yo yo club than a Derby, Portsmouth, Blackpool, Wigan, Birmingham, or any of the loads of others who are in or had serious financial issues because they spent money they did not have trying to finish 17th

I remember Charlton fans wanting rid of Curbishley... look where they are now?

Some times be careful what you wish for. :-(

Ah, the beautiful game, remember that? Let's put down some jumpers and have a socially-distanced kickabout. Long shots only, and no hugging and kissing.
