I'm definitely on the side of disinterest with top flight football - money has made it ever more predictable season on season, and anyone following a team chasing success/improvement will, most likely, find their club teetering on the precipice down the line.

Read my comment chief, it’s improved since then and is less predictable for us. The 4th place thing has killed it imo.

Liverpool aside, I don't think many would have predicted the top 6/7 or where Leicester, Sheffield and possibly even Wolves are right now. I think the part of football that has been scuppered are the European competitions. Champions League and the Europa cup are as dull as ditch water.

We'll see if Arteta is the answer, a very long way to go, but at least they are not throwing games away so easily, as ever, next year will inform more.
