PM - I'm not sure, but I guess the showers will still be usable on Sunday.

My only worry would be allowing enough time for the more sensibly paced people to run the ten-miler on Saturday, and still eat lunch. For some of us, 90 mins would be a major achievement, while lunch would be unmissable.

Off road. Yes, I hadn't factored that in. 90 mins really *would* be a major achievement :-) I'm imagining little jet devices attached to my shoes...

isnt there only 6 showers, all poolside and communal? Or are them some non-unisex ones in there I've never noticed?

depends where you go, not all the off road routes are that hilly.

Just a thought but could the 5km race be later and some of the talky things earlier, that means that those who end up having the lunch a bit later than 12 have time for it to settle before running the 5km

In summary:

Running (a race, proper course and all that), a bit of running-related stuff like maybe lectures, coaching sessions, physios, a nice dinner, a shedload of isotonic shandy and maybe a dance off and a bit of bare knuckle boxing, bedtime, then some gentler running-based activities the following morning, then maybe lunch.
