11,014 good for 11th place. A good lunchtime run clearing my circle which was only tainted by a traffic light turning from yellow to red when I refreshed my phone to check I was in the right street.

I'm getting my dividends from the stealing traffic lights while working at Christmas plan but I fear I will be hitting my high water mark for the year in January

Went for arun this evening to clear a bug nearkby. I've uploaded the data from my Garmn and the route recorded does not reflect the actual route I ran.

The net outcome is I did not squish the bug. Grrrrr.

Very strange.

I think I am at my high point. 2nd place and 1700ish. But I had an 1800 point day 30 days ago and am going on holiday on Saturday (less predictable fetch pointing and my flowers will die before harvesting) so I suspect it is downhill from here!

:-) happy holibobs - good for conquersise.
Overnight, been surrounded by amber traffic lights, but off to the pool, bit tragic. Firmly telling myself it's only a game..

Speaking of traffic lights, why do they disappear? I've noticed a few going in the last week or two, and this morning I've lost a 44-pointer that I visit at least a couple of times per week :( The guide seems to suggest it should still be mine as long as I keep visiting it.

And ferret - when BarefootEm got her Higgs, it was she who spotted it on the map not far from home, and I drove her to a muddy field in the dark and let her get it. For mine, I found it and jumped on the bike into Bristol while she was at work, so I think it's all fair :)

ishep, the traffic lights have a 30 day life...just like most markers now.

Ah, thanks for the explanation! So it's just the guide that's out of date, unless "A life-long money spinner if you can get one on a popular route" refers to the life of the marker :)

I went out yesterday evening and collected a few bugs - this entailed running around town for a bit. But a new bug appeared overnight and collecting it meant a run up a steep (1 in 4) hill. To collect the new bug and squish it and the others meant I had to cover 0.8ml and climb 150mtrs. I was knackered by the time I got to the top.

Reminding myself this is only a game I left two bugs that are on a rat run heading out of town - a narrow road with no pavements and where people who drive way too fast. I decided I'm not risking my neck trying to get them. However, when I just tried to mark them as unreachable I couldn't.

Does anyone know if there is a limit on how many markers can be marked as unreachable each day?

WM, I don't think there is a limit. It does do a funny sometimes though, so go back in and try again and I'm sure it'll work.
