I've yet to be able to water any of my flowers. They all seem to get stolen before I get a chance.

As an example to my point above I have a flower that was planted on the 1 Sept and was last watered on the 12th when it reached 20 points. I've since passed this flower at least 3 times but the watering date has not changed to one of these. The flower will reach 28 days since last watered on 11th Oct 2 days before it would have been harvested on 13th. I'm watching to see if it disappears before the 13th to see if it confirms my assumptions.

@fetcheveryone When do scores re-set? Is it no longer the 1st of the month?

They don't reset any more - the leaderboard works on a 30-day rolling basis - so your score is representative of everything you've done within the last 30 days.

The changes in the rules do mean I look at the map more to plan, rather than just check to see if there are any reachable Goreillas. But, because I am alone in my area I can profit from traffic lights and, because it is a small village, to clear my bugs I would have to do an odd route taking in cu-de-sacs and disparate areas of hard to reach woodland and farmland.
It's quite frustrating when you've made a random diversion into a field to find that you've just missed a bug, or that you were in an adjacent field. Also, why do flowers not get planted in one's home zone?

Dio, from the game guide:
"You plant these every half a mile as you move through uncharted territory. This means you have to run outside your own circle, and everyone elses."

Do we still squish bugs if we run outside of our circle? Would I only infect a neighbour's bug if I encountered it but didn't run outside my circle?

It would be nice if there was someway of duelling for traffic lights. On my nice cycle by the canal into town i have two traffic lights that i will never own as the owner has a daily commute past them. Currently it costs me 120 points if i go that way, so i either take a detour or stop my garmin before them and then restart another route after them.
