We didn't have anywhere near as many supporters last year, but we didn't have as many runners either and the "team" support system wasn't necessary. Unless there are more than a couple of supporters who can get there early it's getting harder to claim a space and keep it. Whoever sets up needs a good idea of how many people will be hanging over the barriers as keeping any claimed space is difficult without the numbers. The first year I fetchpointed we were two or three deep - the last couple of years we've had elbow room to stretch out across a smaller area.
The bunting and flags fit in a smallish suitcase and are easy enough to cart around.

I've never run London before but I'm really looking forward to seeing the Fetchpoint. Hopefully the boost I get will see me to the end!

I can get there fairly early to set up, but would want to get out by about 3pm. Annoyingly, I'm in London the day after, teaching yoga in the late afternoon at the office.

Probably not me this year I’m afraid - I’ve done it the last couple of years. I’m unfortunately allergic to the pollen from the tree we stand under and by the afternoon can barely breathe!

Rats...by that time, I'm usually on antihistamines for the other forms of hayfever (flowers, etc), so hadn't noticed it HB!

That is a shame HB but thank you for your services to fetchdom I can try and get out to Bedford the week before to collect stuff if no one else can but my train doesn’t get me in till 9 I think

That might work I’ll see if anyone more bedfordy offers or fmail fetch and see if I can arrange a pick up. My earliest train gets to Waterloo at 8.50 so I won’t be that far behind
