Sorry HOD, you joined the group so you got allocated into a team!

After calls for supporters went out, Fetch's newsletter Paula's blog about 100 people joined the group - I must have missed that you didn't respond to the fmail allocating you to a team - but I did wonder why you were so quiet on here!

I have a feeling that there are going to be a lot of no shows!

Good Morning Team 4 :)

Supporters - thank you to those who turned up, shivered, cheered handed out oranges, recruited new Fetchies from the crowd and were generally magnificent medal star

Runners - Paul tb - that was the most perfect pacing I have ever seen from the sideline! I knew exactly when to look for you - fabulous !

I hope that we made enough noise to help you all on your way - (I had no requests for goodies)

To those I missed - I'm so sorry, we were a little short-handed this year and looking in two directions at once was hard!

I'll be there again on the pavement side of the barrier (assuming the ballot doesn't surprise me) it really is a favourite day out :)

We have a whole year to work out how to stop the locals nicking the balloons next time --- I think we shall have to string them above us from tree to tree next year!

Wasn't just us - they were also taking the pink & light blue balloons from the charity team just up the road.

I only pace it so evenly to make sure I get maximum effect from fetchpoint :-).
Thanks for the support.

That'll learn 'em :)

Hi RH, sorry if you were short-handed in team 4. I went to the end (6) to defend our space and decided it was best to stay there. More than one unfriendly exchange with people who wanted to take down the Fetch flag because they couldn't see. My responses were variations on a theme of f*** off and stand somewhere else then, or perhaps you should have got up earlier to get a good vantage point, or are you also suggesting that Cancer Research and all the rest also take down their flags?

As a committed non-patriot, I never thought I'd have to fight to defend a flag!
