Cuddy
I've also ordered the blood sugar diet book. Hey, it can't hurt to read it...may hurt more to actually follow it

It's not caused me any pain or suffering, Cuddy This is week 3/8 and most people report a minimal weight loss - just what I found last time and, it seems, this time too. It's not official weigh day for me until Sunday though, so there's still time! Welcome to the familiar faces who have entered the thread. Great to see you here

Cuddy - I started to read it, had palpitations and put it down. Seriously will look at it properly over the weekend

I opened the book on a random page and it was for the title page for VLCDs. My mind flashed to an image of saggy, deflated skin and went 'eeeewwwww'. I just associate quick weight loss with saggy skin!

11 weeks in and I've no problems with hunger - the higher proportion of fats I'm eating is keeping that at bay, along with no carb spikes.

I'm intrigued to watch the results that people doing 8week BSD are getting, especially the comments about hunger. I had understood that it was low carbs, and particularly going ketogenic, that reduced hunger. But if you do 8-week BSD using the Optifast sachets plus extra veggies, you are getting too many carbs to be keto.
If it's working for you - stick with it!
