First interesting thing blogged. Much the most interesting thing about the village. Only of interest to history enthusiasts!

How strict are we being about the mile limit?? The more interesting things I can think of are more like 1.5 miles!

As strict as each individual chooses to be Autumnleaves.
The Treasure Hunt is open to, well, at least I am, and accepting and welcoming inventiveness and warped logic.

If I am restricted to 1 mile, then it'll be a New Forest sign and the Church. Then maybe the sign to Pains Fireworks and a deer or horse.

(but after the pre-xmas kerfuffle in Fetch, please be honest. 'This is 3 miles away but the best we've got' is quite OK)

*I googled things to do in my village. It suggests Salisbury Cathedral (~10 miles), Stonehenge (~16 miles) or Bournemouth ( >20 miles).

So cows, horses and fields it is!

Across this very field (cows, horses optional), over a period of 5000 years, pilgrims passed on their way to Stonehenge and Salisbury Cathedral. Probably... ;)
