Sherry makes the mince for our mince pies. I’ve not tasted better but am always willing to try other’s 😀 She also makes our Christmas cake which is started several weeks before. It’s finished off with rough icing to make a snow scene with a model tree, a Santa and a couple of small children on a sledge. And it’s always lovely. I’m normally the person who eats most of it 🐷

I usually make puddings and keep them a year or two. I have some home-made mincemeat from a couple of years ago which hopefully will still be OK for this year's pies - though that's another thing I don't like.

I'm a gingerbread critter fan. Critter as my cookie cutters include hedgehogs and dinosaurs. Nothing says christmas quite like a Stegosaurus cookie with 100s and 1000s scattered across it.
