Does santa do miracles? I'm doing bovi half in 6 weeks (sheesh) race profile is a tad hilly! But they're promising no water crossings early on... having spent many a time at the army ground in bovington I know it's tough terrain. I may need new legs and feet!
Got to put new batteries in the head torch as my morning and evening runs get longer.
Enjoying stalking and reading back on this thread. I do love FSS!!

GG, I wouldn't work yourself up too much about Bovi (I'm also doing the half) WSR events are all about the bling and having fun.

Thank you westmoors that makes me feel so much better. The 4.5hr cut of for a half frightened the life out of me!!
I can do fun and bling & a mulled cider - may even get to see you there :):):)

The cut off times are just to remind people not to stop forever at the lovestation rather than an indication of the course toughness! And they don't tend to enforce them much. A friend of mine did one of their marathons with a 6.5 hour cut off in over 7 hours
Hopefully we will be able to meet up, its always nice to meet other fetchies.
