Yes, huge congratulations to Wine Legs and Binks!
I was going to ask about the 4 month sleep regression, I've heard about it and it terrifies me as they basically say your baby changes their sleeping habits and that its permanent!! It's a daily battle to get Sophie to nap and she wakes almost without fail after 30 mins. She's also stopped sleeping so well during the night, although I do know we've been very lucky with her until now so perhaps we are just due some grief?! BC - did Sylvie overcome the "4 month" sleep thing??
Love the pic, Sylvie looks so snug! What running buggy have you got Lambkin? We haven't tried ours yet. Will be great if Sophie likes it though as I'm struggling with motivation at the mo since I can only run on weekends when J is home. I haven't felt up to a park run yet as I can't face how slow I know I'll be

Do parkrun Neems. Then get faster every time you go back, it's really motivating
I don't think sleep regression is meant to be permanent. I just find its harder for her to nap now. She really fights dropping off and she sleeps quite a bit lighter than she used to. She's not really changed overnight but she's never slept through at all yet - still up 3 times a night, which I'm sure is habit and not real hunger. I'm moving her over to formula now and hoping that helps (no change yet, although she seems to have gone to sleep earlier tonight - 8:30 instead of 10pm, fingers crossed)

In my (limited) experience, nothing in the lives of babies is permanent and one can't be compared to another. Your baby will do what ever it feels is right, it may not be right for you, but you will get used to it!

Well said Elsie Too, next week it'll be a cold or teeth affecting sleep or they lean to sit or crawl or shuffle and wear themselves out. Mine would always sleep well after a swim.

What elsie said It FEELS permanent because sleep deprivation is a form of torture But nothing is - I'm given to believe they tend to stop needing you in the night some time before they leave for uni Cedd is starting to want to read in bed rather than come in for a cuddle when he wakes up. I thought that would be bliss but I miss him.

I agree with Elsie as well. My daughter regularly wakes once a night at some point for some milk. we've tried giving her water rather than milk. That just results in the screams getting louder. So when you want some sleep we give in to the demand of wanting milk. And I will bet that even though she has only had one 90 minute nap today she will still wake up at some point in the night wanting that milk. There have been some occasions when she has slept the entire night.

I am wanting to start getting daughter off of the baby bottles and onto the sippy cups for all of her milk times. She gets water from the tommy tippee free flow cups, but I want to start transitioning her away from the baby bottles.
Any advice on how to do that? Any types of cups that people have found useful? I have some valve cups here at home and have tried them with her, but she just didn't understand with to do with them. I was just thinking of using the tommy tippee free flow cups for her at nursery and then keeping her milk before bed time still in the bottle for now.
Thoughts?

Does anyone have any experience about turning a breech baby? Booked for an ECV turn next Wed & just wondered if anyone had any advice? I'm still going with the 'it'll be what it'll be' approach.

They are usually quite successful but a bit brutal from what I understand. They often turn by themselves though...you've got another three weeks or so yet, I think?
