Haven't done any for ages. Used to be a Walton Chaser in my youth. I think I did an informal POTOC event about 3/4 years ago and managed to come 3rd. Thank you for reminding me of the wonders of orienteering - I shall keep an eye out for future events & polish up my compass.

You do get a fancy electronic dibber to punch controls with these days.. no need for safety pins anymore

Yes I remember those days too, it was around the same time flesh eating braken and brambles growing taller then me were the dominant vegetation in most areas and all courses were 5 miles uphill in the snow...
